HISTORY

North Washington Firefighters Local 2403 became part of the IAFF in 1975 and merged with Southwest Adams County Firefighters Local 4386 in 2014. The Merger created Adams County Professional Firefighters Local 2403. By combining our unions together as one we are a stronger united voice to ensure our fellow firefighters are taken care of. Combining also allows us to provide quicker response times, more strategic locations of fire stations which in turn allows us to better serve our community.

Local 2403 consists of members who jointly share a passion to give back to our community by giving our time to countless organizations and charities. Investing back into our community and creating a strong relationship with our community remains a priority. We look forward to growing that relationship further and hope this website helps to serve as tool to our success.
