Mike Kary is a EMS Officer with Adams County Fire Rescue since 2007. He started with Southwest Adams County Fire prior to the merger with North Washington Fire, which created Adams County Fire Rescue. He started off as a Vice President with Southwest Adams County Professional Firefighters, Local 4386, then quickly became President until the merger into Adams County Fire Rescue. Currently he is the President of Adams County Professional Firefighters, Local 2403.
David Carpenter is an Engineer for Adams County Fire Rescue and a Vice President of Local 2403. He has been a member of the Local 2403 E-board since 2010, also holding the position of Treasurer. David is a strong Union supporter, getting his start with the IBEW Local 68 in Denver, CO. A member of the negotiating team is another example of his dedication to Local 2403. Through his previous union work, David understands that the easiest way to get things done is by creating a strong relationship with the people on the other side of the table and that is exactly what he strives to do.
Tyler Criswell has been a Firefighter for Adams County Fire Rescue since 2010. Tyler serves as the district’s Hazardous Materials Operations Leader. He joined Local 2403 in 2011. Since joining he has held the position of A-shift steward for two years and is currently the Secretary of Local 2403.
Verne Ullrich started in the fire service in 1978 at the age of 18. In May of 2003 he was hired at Southwest Adams County Fire Protection District as a FF/Paramedic. In January 2014, North Washington Fire Protection District and S.W.A.C. merged to form Adams County Fire Rescue. He became a union Steward for Local 2403 in October 2014 and held the position for two years before being appointed to the Treasurer for Local 2403.
